English Hub Lead

Scale and Salary: L8 – L12
Responsible to: Director of the Teaching School Hub
Contract: Full-time, this post is directly linked to funding from the DfE for English Hubs.

We are looking for an exceptional school leader, with a passion for reading, to join our team. You will form part of the English Hub and Teaching School Hub central team, working together to impact on schools within Lincolnshire and the designated area. Your core responsibility will be the leadership of The Witham St Hughs English Hub, one of 34 schools nationally to be awarded the English Hub Status from the Department of Education.
Throughout the past six years, we have had considerable success as an English Hub, developing exceptional practice and positive outcomes across Lincolnshire and providing targeted and universal support to a vast number of identified schools across our region. This support has focused on developing early reading, reading for pleasure and language skills and has been recognised on a national level. Through in-school support, auditing, programme delivery, training opportunities and true partnership work, we have continued to provide the very best support to schools in the region. We are seeking to appoint an English Hub Leader to continue this journey, with the full support and strategic leadership from the Senior Teaching School Hub team and Strategic English Hub Lead.
